One month... Almost.

It's been almost 30 days since Whitney has made her grand arrival. I was telling Bart that it really seems we brought her home just yesterday. I can't believe how quickly time has passed. My oldest sister, Annette, jokingly asked me "So... what do you do all day?" (She has four kids.) What do I do all day? I really can't say. Before I know it.. it's 4 o'clock and I haven't even showered. I must admit.. even though I loved being a teacher... being a mom is way better. Yes, even with the sleepless nights.
Bart has a little time off from school. We are looking forward to some fun family time. His parents, Marsha and Steve, are coming to visit. We are so excited for Whitney to meet her Paxton Grandparents. Enjoy the pictures!

what cute, cute pictures! The first one looks professional... who took that and with what camera? I'm totally impressed! She is darling... can't believe she's almost 1 month! Time sure does fly when days run into nights and there is really no difference!

Darling pictures. Nothing is more fun than being a mom, even when that is all you do all day.

I can't believe it's been a month either! That is crazy b/c it seems like I was just reading about her being born. She is so precious. She looks like the cutest little bundle of scrumptiousness. Definitely not a rag-a-muffin!

I was just sitting here watching my little Cash sleep thinking these exact thoughts --- where does the time go, and what do I do all day? Neither one could i answer in such a way to really please myself so i am just giving up and gonna go join him for a little nap! She is darling, and how fun for her to meet her grandparents....i LOVE that part!!!

yay! I'm so glad you love being a mom. I can totally relate. I don't feel like I'm giving anything up to stay at home with James.

Whitney is so precious! I love that flower on her headband in the first picture.

And btw, I've tried your Columbus Cookie recipe three times now. It is my new favorite cookie recipe! Oh, my, those cookies are good! I got creative and tried it using milk-chocolate M&Ms and butter-scotch chips. Delicious!

Okay, I stalked you off Amy's blog...hope it's okay. Whitney is adorable!!! You don't know how much love you have in you until you have a baby (even with the sleepless nights). I'm impressed that you're even blogging with her at only a month. I feel like sometimes the whole day goes by as well, but my Nick is nearly 10 months old. Guess it never ends...the whole where-did-the-day-go?

Wow is she such a cutie. I feel like a horrible friend. I haven't been able to keep up in the blogging world since school started. You know how it is. I updated our blog last night and plan on catching up on everyone else soon. Congrats again she is adorable!

Krista,
Congrats! I had to check your blog today because I was fairly sure you would have had your baby by now, and I see you definately have! She is so cute. Hope you are enjoying these first months of motherhood, they go by way too fast. Take care!
