Green Thumbs
So, I joined the Gardening Enrichment Group in my ward. It's very earthy. I decided to plant my own little garden. It started out in my kitchen, and has slowly moved to my backyard. Even though this garden started out as my project, Bart has been so kind to tend to our bit-of-earth. Because my belly was getting in the way of my weeding, Bart took a 'time-out' to help me get the huge weeds out of our yard.

So here's the latest:
First, we planted our seeds into these little dirt-pods.

This is in our backyard with the little starts of our plants. I hope they live through this unseasonably cold weather.
Garage Sale Findings

Many of you may know of our "thrifty-ness." Yesterday, Bart and I went to a few different garage sales.
Mission: To find as much baby stuff as we could.
We found three items which we are very happy with.
We got a nice glider from a yard sale that was right in our own apartment complex. The people who sold it even accepted our "rubber check!" (Just kidding Annie.. it won't bounce.)
Then we went to Upper Arlington and found a little highchair. It's the kind that you attach to a kitchen chair. This is perfect for us, seeing how we don't have a ton of room in our kitchen. Then our final purchase was a Jogger. I was hesitant at first because it didn't have all the bells and whistles of new joggers. But the price was actually more in our budget than the new joggers. $30.00. It's a great brand- Baby Jogger. We are excited to try out these items with she comes.
Here's the glider and the highchair.
A seat for baby and a seat for mommy!

Nothin' Much to Post

So, I've been wanting to post something, but there's not much going on in our lives right now. Bart's still working hard in school, and I'm just getting bigger. Here's a few of the latest shots of us. Oh- I am planting a garden. It's currently in my dining room kitchen. I will transplant it outdoors this or next weekend. I will be growing zucchini, banana peppers, tomatoes, bell peppers, cilantro, snap peas and flowers. First, I have to get all the jungle weeds out of my backyard.

Latest pregnant shot: April 19- About 24 Weeks

Bart loves ice cream.
This is him taking a studying break, eating a big bowl.
Cookies & Cream.... he loves that flavor.

Here's Bart studying for a test.
You can tell he's thinking really hard because
his finger is on his upper lip. Hmmm...

Okay, so I've also been really into cooking and baking. Here's a picture of our tasty turkey. This bird was only $5.00. WOW! It is about 13 pounds. I really want a deep-freezer so I can buy meat on sale and then cook it up later. Bart makes the best gravy.
