Zoo Rides, Goodbye Lexi & Hello Leotards

Sort of a random title.. but it's also sort of a random post.

Here's Bart & Whitney at the teacups.  I am too lazy to upload the video of her freaking out when Bart was spinning her really fast.  It was pretty funny.

On a much sadder note:  Here is one of the last times Whitney was able to play with Lexi.  The Heatons moved to AZ.  We'll just have to go visit, I guess!!!

These girls were such adorable friends.  Both loved to attack each other with hugs.  They were super crazy around each other too.  Hopefully, the two of them will someday be roommates (at BYU, right Jim?).

And lastly, I just had to post my little man's chubby legs.  I put Whitney's red leotard on him just to accent the hips, legs and arms.  Whitney was NOT happy that he was wearing it.  I'm sure in the near future, MacKay will be NOT happy that he was wearing it, either.  But for now, we got some good laughs.

And let's just say "almost three-years-old" is pure bliss!  Ha!  This picture says it all.

Mini-Break

Bart had a fun little mini-break in between graduation and our trip to Utah.  (TBP:  To Be Posted)

We went to our Zoo one glorious afternoon.  Here's Whit & Bart on the carousel.

It was MacKay's first carousel ride too.  We couldn't get one of him looking at the camera.  Too much going on, I guess!

We also took a little boat ride at the zoo.  Bart and MacKay watched from a nearby bridge:

Here's our Little Chubbers doing some tummy time.

Happy Father's Day to a wonderful Daddy.  We worked together to make him his traditional Father's Day Tie.  He loved it!

Here's me & my girl one Sunday before Church.

Graduation Visitors

After Bart's graduation, we were able to enjoy our visitors for the following week.  The weather was still not too humid, so we were able to do a few things.  This was probably going to be Steve & Marsha's last visit in the great OHIO, so we wanted to show them some of the fun things they haven't done, yet.

COSI:  We took them to our science center for a few hours.

Whitney showed them around the neighborhood in her awesome tricycle:

We went to a topiary garden:

We took lots of pictures:

We went to Chuck-E-Cheese.  That place is an ideal location for picking up the latest virus.  Here I am trying to catch whatever is on that carpet.  Nasty.

We also went to a Historical Farm:  Bart's pumping the water.

Saw some water:

Took more pics:

Three generations:

When you wonder where MacKay is, you can usually spot him being smooched by his Daddy.  Get that neck-meat.

Whitney LOVES her Grandma:

Thank you for your visit!  Love you!!!

6 Month MacKay

At 6 months, our MacKay:
-Was visiting family in Utah
-Loves "solid" food:  favorites are just about everything.  Green beans are a least favorite, but he'll still eat them.
-Has been on 3 plane rides & 4 different states (Ohio, Texas, Arizona & Utah)
-Rolls over:  Much better from tummy to back.  He gets "stuck" in the middle of the night on his belly and cries.
-Loves his binky and is learning how to put it in his mouth by himself.
-Started sleeping THRU THE NIGHT, 10-12 hours, starting on the night of June 19th.  Those chub rolls are now paying off.
-Loves to nurse and will take a bottle of formula.  (That's now changing to nursing only, again.)
-Teething (now has 2 bottom teeth)  Luckily, the boy was so sweet and didn't complain once about his gums.
-Loves to be with his big Sissy, even if she is pinching.
-Takes 2-3 naps a day, each ranging from 45 minutes to 3 hours.
-Wears size 3 diapers and moving on to size 4
-Was able to meet ALL of his cousins (except Tanya's kids:( ).
-Loves to laugh, chuckle, giggle.
-Enjoys our kisses and cuddles.
-Is just about one of the most laid-back, easy natured, happy, sweet babies I've ever met- and I'm surely not saying that because I'm his mother.
-Is called, "Bubba", "Bubs", & "BmacKay" by his adoring big Sis.

Oh, MacKay, we love you.  You are still an amazing baby.  Can I just push pause right now, and keep you like this for a little while longer?  Really- I mean that.
