8 Months... Well... 31 1/2 weeks... but who's counting?

Here's the latest pregnancy shot. I know I still have a while to go and I am getting ready. I was really enjoying the full pregnancy experience until I had an episode of swollen feet, water-retention, and other unmentionable pain. I really can't complain though, I've had it pretty easy.
Bart loves to play dress-up... even in the baby's clothes. Here he is trying on a bib.
Happy Father's Day!

Today Bart celebrated Father's Day with a pancake breakfast and a flank steak dinner. Both were very tasty. Happy Father's Day for a Dad-To-Be! (Only 2 more months!)
Bart has been working hard all week on getting the baby's room ready. (Pictures to come on a later post.) He has been painting, painting, painting. It looks great.

Yesterday, Bart got a package in the mail from his mom. It was so thoughtful of her to think of him. She even gave him a "Dad-To-Be" medal which I really wanted him to wear to church. He didn't want to, though. Even after I pulled it out after sacrament meeting and placed it around his neck, he still took it off. If I have to carry around a bowling ball under my shirt, the least he could do is wear the shiny medal to church.

It's Getting Hot In Here...
So Take Off All Your Hair!

We celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary in style this year. It started off with a lovely, HOT, MUGGY Columbus day. We ate at Ruby Tuesday, and I had way too much salt. The salt intake plus the 90 degree temperature (that is WITH a lot of humidity) made my feet looked like plump sausages. It was painful.

It was also the day of Bart's last final of his first year of dental school. Bart made the transition from a 1st year dental student to a 2nd year. As he did this, he thought it would be appropriate to shed some unwanted hair.

Here are some different phases of the "do!"

I just started shaving off portions of his hair.
I almost wet my pants I was laughing so hard.
He looked totally trashy.

This is one of my favorite pictures of all time.
I love the different "levels."
One side is just a teensie bit shorter, don't you think?

So Bart really wanted a mow hawk.
But I was laughing so hard, I cut it crooked.
We'll have to try again on our 5th year anniversary.
He only kept this mow hawk for a few minutes.

I love this one little strand of hair that is remaining.

Here it is- the finished product!
In this shot, Bart is trying to be so tough.
(Don't worry, I won't tell them you watched
"So You Think You Can Dance" after your haircut.)

Here he is without his hair! Hot stuff!
