Wow. Time went by before I could really do the 10 & 11 month updates for Whitney.
So here they are...
10 months old in Utah
When Whitney turned 10 months she was doing the following things:
-Starting to army crawl. Hooray! Slow and steady was the name of her tune.
-She loves to be with her Daddy and is constantly saying "Da-Da" whenever she sees him.
-Whitney loves to point at things and is trying to figure out the names of what she sees.
-She loves to take things out of boxes, bags and make a mess on the floor.
-Flew to Utah to meet all of her cousins and see the sights.
-Went to Wyoming and Idaho for the first time in her life.
-Liked to get kisses and would bend down herhead so you could kiss her forehead.
-Slept in a pack-in-play very excellently.
-Loves the neighborhood kids and tries to yell at all of them.
-Was so delightful! Her 10 month was great.. could it be that we were on vacation and there were a million other kids for her to watch?
-Decided that baby food is gross and only wants the same food she sees us eat. She loves pizza, cheese, grapes, watermelon, water, black beans, yogurt and crackers.
4th of July pictures with Whitney.

This is Whitney's "Ca."
Yes, she says it like she's a forty-year-old woman from Brooklyn, NY.
Whitney and her BFF, Jadyn, at the swings on her 11 month mark.

When Whitney turned 11 months (which was
just 2 days ago, so I can remember this better) she was doing the following things:
-Still army crawling, but able to get down from her bottom to her belly without nose diving on the carpet.
-Crawls on the wood floor! (She wouldn't do this at first.)
-LOVES being held by her Mommy and was very clingy during her 10 month.
-Started saying a few new words like, "Ba" (Ball), "Da" (Dog), "Ca" (Car), "Craka", (Cracker), "Be-Be" (Baby) "Dis" (This)
-Started throwing temper tantrums: ie: screaming very hysterically if she didn't get what she wanted right away, throwing things that frustrate her
-Calls anything that is sphere-shaped a 'ba' (ball). This is especially funny in the produce section of the grocery store.
-Started signing "more," but doesn't quite get what it means all the time.
-Is more in love with her puppy and wants to carry it around.
-Had a fever for the first time on her 11-month mark.
-Tries to walk while holding our hands.
-Tries to pull herself up in her crib.
-Loves the bath and screams when we take her out of the tub.
-Loves reading books.
-Copies everything her daddy does.
-Loves to try and snap her fingers.
