Time is flying by. Today (April 19th) Whitney turned 8 months old. I can't believe it. She celebrated her 8 month birthday by puking on the carpet. She is FINALLY sleeping 8 plus hours at night without feeding. It's a sensitive topic with me, seeing how I've gone almost a year without a good night's rest. I know I'm not the only one out there. Feel free to leave your confessions of a bad year's rest as a comment on this post.
Cuddling with Dad.

Gives Mommy snuggles.

Sunday before church.
If I take a picture after church,
she is tired, cranky
and is no longer wearing accessories.
(Exactly 8 months old!)

Here are some things Whitney likes to do at Eight Months of Age:
-Shake her head no when she is all done eating.
-Eat her dinner in the bathroom sink. I decided I actually prefer this method of feeding her, because the clean up is so easy.
-Clap her hands.
-Play with other babies and talk in baby language.
-Squeal and scream all the time.
-Grab things with her pinchers.
-Feed herself yogurt bites and fruit puffs.
-Sit up on a high chair at a restaurant and touch everything germy. (Much to my dismay.)
-Laugh hysterically when she is getting ready for bed.
-'Be-lax' in the bath or shower.
-Lay on her back and immediately flip to her back if she is ever put on her stomach. I'm not sure she'll ever crawl.
-Watch t.v.
-Hold her hands up in the air for me to pick her up.
-Giggle and squeal at herself in the mirror.
-"Say" Da-da over and over and over. No, she doesn't know what she's saying. But it's still cute.
-Copy noises that we make.
-Spin on her back while she is sleeping.
-Touch everything with her index finger.
-Rub her face into my shirt when she is ready for a nap.
-Fall asleep on her own, in her crib, BY HERSELF. Yes, folks... it's finally happened!
Playing with Dad.

Almost 8 months old- and loves to bite with her teeth. Yes, biting REAL food.

Our garden is a bit more sparse this year.

Dinner with Mom and Dad.

Wow. This is the life. All you need is a sippy cup and a Baby Einstein.
Love that smile.
