Last night before bed, I was trying to figure out a 'new' bedtime snack.  Usually, Whitney eats something random, or has a late dinner.  She was asking for suckers, chocolate chips and junk food all day.  She even had her favorite Wendy's dinner consisting of a Frosty, french fries and chicken nuggets with honey mustard dipping sauce.

So, I made her a sandwich.  To be honest, she's never really liked sandwiches. But last night was different. I only used one piece of bread and didn't fold it over.  She really LOVED eating it and was totally posing for pictures.  She has slept in later today than she has in months.  Just a coincidence?  Probably.

We love the Dads in our life..

Treats

It was our first time making Rice Krispey treats together.  I told Whitney to put in the marshmallows.  Somehow my directions were not clear enough.  Yes, she did put them in the bowl, but only after she took a bite out of each one before placing it in the bowl.  (Green Bear was her assistant.)  

So tempting- this girl loves her sweets.

No pictures of the final product.  I had to put away the camera so we could get the mixing underway.  What a sweet treat.

Zoombezi Bay

Is one of our favorite Summer retreats.  We go almost every day.  It totally wears out Whitney (and me too).  Here she is... the only one in the kiddie pool.

Fun with Friends

Whitney loves these two girls.  We had a play date the other day.  I turned on a show, so the three of them would at least sit on the couch.  The sitting didn't last long.  These girls should be in Roller Derby or WWE.
