Gymnastics

It wasn't long ago this Tiny Tumbler started her first "gymnastics" class.  It was when she was just 16 months old.  She could barely walk and was crawling over the mats, falling with every bounce of the trampoline and holding onto me whenever she'd walk across the beam.   A little over a year later, she loves to run, jump, and slide and hang from the bars.  When she braves the beam, it's all by herself.  Wow!  She really is growing up!

She loves her real life gymnastics outfit, which she lovingly refers to as her "LeoGuitar".  (I think she's combining two of her favorite things.. leotards and guitars.)

Tomorrow is her last class.
Thank you, Tiny Tumblers, for teaching our Whitney how to be brave and daring!

Here is Whitney & her wonderful teacher, Ginger.  Just ask Whitney about the "diamond" in Ginger's tongue.  Yes, Ginger has a tongue ring which has caught Whitney's attention.
Whitney calls her "Ginga!" and has become quite fond of her.

Here's Jadyn and Whitney about to roll on the ground:

We love it when Daddy can come watch too!

 We love you, Whitney June!

Love It...

Here's a typical pose of MacKay in his crib during a nap.

Loves that puppy, that pink tiny pillow, the small kitty (this item is actually optional) and being swaddled from the waist down.  Don't mind the spit-up on the shirt.  (That happens about, oh, every five minutes.  He's drenched in it by the end of the day.)

Whitney had a "thing" for a puppy just like that when she was around his age.  The puppy in the crib   was actually her "back up" puppy.  (In case the original got lost, dirty, stolen, etc.)
I'm glad to see it's getting some love these days.

Sweet Dreams, baby Mac.  You are a good baby.

Mother's Day

My Mother's Day was great.  Bart & the kids made it a very special day for me.  Thank you!

On Saturday I was surprised with these lovely lilies.  I planted them in my front yard.  Love them.

Here's me and Mac on Friday before M.D.  Nobody can get him to smile like his Daddy!  (Daddy is taking the pic.)

Bart had his dental school graduation party.  Luau themed on Friday night.  This was our first date since the birth of MacKay.  Loved it.

Family of four:

Bart takes the most flattering pics.  I had to post this face b/c I'm pretty sure I give this look a lot.

Happy Mother's Day to the Mothers in my life...

Ready for Sun

We are SO ready for the rain to stop and the SUN to arrive!

Here are the kiddos in their new suits.  Zoombezi Bay.. HERE WE COME!

Kissy Kissy!

Loves the saucer:

Pumpkin spice cake:

BTW:
MacKay's 4 month stats:
Weight:  16 lbs 10 oz (81%)
Height:  23.5 inches (6%)
Head: 42 cm (42%)

Oh, yes.  That is why MacKay looks so dang chubby.  He's got a lot of love for his height.  I asked the doctor if this meant that he would be short when he was older.  I was assured that baby percentiles have no correlation with adult height.  So for now, we'll just enjoy the little chubster.
