So starting about an hour after she awoke-- she started begging to go. (At this point, she only had three hours left to wait... come on!) She just HAD to put on her "swimsoup" and refused to take off her shirt. Thus we have this really awesome look:
It's darling... I know.
Unfortunately, 3 hours felt like an eternity for both little Whit and me. Yes, we found things to do inside (make muffins, fold laundry, vacuum, do the dishes, eat a popsicle, and play with magnets)- but then was the real treat. Whitney got to "work"... which happens to be one of her most favorite things to do.
She likes to take her little play kitchen and put it on it's side. Then she goes to town with Daddy's tools. Yes, I let her play with all of them. (Except for the knife.) This keeps her entertained for quite sometime. Even the lure of Zoombezi Bay can't get her away from "Man's Work. "

She's mad because I wouldn't take the exact screw driver that she wanted out of the tool box.
She loves this.

That is awesome. On Christmas day you won't have to put her toys together for her, she will be able to do it all by herself.
Wow. That looks like fun! Just wait until she gets it apart then you can't put it back together. Fun times.
I better not show this to Luke. He will fall madly in love!
I like the swimsuit/shirt combo. Very chic! And I LOVE the first song on your playlist. I hadn't heard Jon Schmidt's version yet. Very beautiful. That song makes me want to have a daughter named Juliet.
That is cute! Congratulations on the new little one! I am behind on looking at blogs.
