No- that is not a fuzzy, black and white picture of a peanut. That is our baby's first picture.
Bart and I are excited to announce that we are expecting our first baby on August 14, 2008. We found out in early December that I was pregnant. We had been hoping for this little miracle for quite some time- so when we found out- we were both so very happy.

At the doctor's appointment that this picture was taken- the little baby was just wiggling around. It was really neat to see and hear the heart beat. So we're going to be parents- and we are so thankful.

Hey man it's Drew. As I was helping Ashley (my wife) with our blog I stumbled across yours. How are you man? You guys look like youre doing great! Congrats on dental school and Ohio State. That's awesome. Congratulations! Chip and I are expecting too -- and we found out the same time....but we had to tell our families for christmas....so we made shirts that said "world's best grandpa", world's best grandma" for both of our parents....as the first grandchild on either side everyone was ecstatic --- so exciting!!!! also, i am due exactly one week later than you -- august 21 --- so fun fun! hopefully you haven't been sick! we found out yesterday what it is -- but i am surprising my hubby tomorrow for valentines with it --- so he still doens't know....are you going to find out?
