Easter Sunday

I love Easter.  I love everything about it:  the spring colors, little bunnies, the flowers, the egg hunt, the candy and chocolate.  But most importantly, we love the TRUE meaning of Easter:  The Atonement & Resurrection of our Savior.

This Easter was especially nice because we got to watch General Conference.  Whitney slept through the morning sessions, and then was awake for the afternoon sessions.  We've been trying to teach her who the Latter-day Prophets are.  When President Monson came on the screen we asked, "Who is that?"
She said, "Monsons"

After Conference, we had over some friends from the neighborhood.  We even got to eat outside.  It was delicious food.    We are so grateful for the many blessings we have.

Yummy food.  Yes, those are Honey's orange rolls:

After we ate, everyone sort of dispersed from the tables.  Jared brought over these two huge and delicious strawberry shortcakes and set them on the table.  Whitney was alone in the backyard for about 30 seconds.  Then this is what we saw when we came out:

Hope your Easter was just as great!

I wish I was sitting at that table with you. What a nice group of friends. Whitney is just so adorable and the shoe shopping kills me. Thanks for all your words and thoughts on Easter's true meaning.

Whitney is so girly - shoe shopping, I love it! I love all the recent posts. Of course she would take after her mama and love Easter:) Having a girl is so much fun, huh? And it helps that she is so adorable! I love her beautiful blue eyes!
