Yesterday I was just playing around with our camera. We bought a new one right before Whitney was born because our old camera was starting to act up a little bit. By "act up," I mean that all of a sudden it would totally NOT work. We bought a new one after doing some research. I knew that I wanted a Canon-- and they had a few different ones at Costco. We decided on the Canon Powershot SD850 IS. I know, it probably means nothing to you, either. Yes, I really wanted one of those Canons that are like a thousand dollars- but we decided to be more reasonable and get a nice reliable camera.
So- anyways, back to my original story:
I was playing around with the camera and I saw this feature on it called: ACCENT. Being my curious self, I played with it for a couple of minutes. So, it takes pictures in black and white and only shows the color you choose. I put an orange flower on Whitney's head and I took these cute little pictures. She wasn't in the best of moods, so I had to put on a Baby Einstein to calm her down so I could get SOME cute pictures. No, it's not my computer- it's the camera. Pretty cool, huh?
I guess I should read the manual to see what other fancy things my camera can do.

She was not happy before I turned on Baby Einstein. But I wanted to show you her little teeth on the bottom. She LOVES to bite me with those. She is really actually part Vampire. I think it may have been from those Twilight books I read.

Wow, I'm impressed. I LOVE her bow, by the way.
How fun, I want a camera like that!
she's a cutie! and nice work with the camera... you make it look so easy! That's when you get to take all kinds of credit for not much effort... revel in it!
Krista, i love these pictures. They are so great. I just got photoshop and I'm so excited to play around with it. I'm sure it can do something similar. I love the picture picture at the very beginning of the blog too.
That is very cute! i love the bright color. Is that the real color of the flower? It looks really cool!
Guess what i just finished???
What a fun feature! She is so darling.
Biting - yikes. I bet that hurts. It hurts when Gavin bites my fingers. I can only guess what Whit's getting ahold of!
You could frame those pictures. They look like a professional took them! Whitney is a little cutie!
